Product Updates: Week 33
This week's biggest release brings self-guided tour voice conversations into the Command Center. When a prospect uses the voice AI to ask questions while touring a multifamily unit on their own, that conversation now saves and plays back in their timeline right alongside your phone-call recordings, as one recording per tour no matter how many times they turned the AI on and off along the way.
Plus, property managers can now choose exactly which team members are notified when a lead with no property attached calls, texts, or gets escalated.
Here’s what’s new in RentEngine.
Multifamily
Play back self-guided tour voice conversations in the Command Center
On a multifamily self-guided tour, a prospect can ask a voice AI questions about the unit and get answers back in real time. Those conversations now save and play back in the prospect's timeline in the Command Center, alongside your phone-call recordings.
A prospect can turn the voice AI on and off as many times as they like while they walk the unit, and it all comes back as a single recording per tour on one player, so you're not hunting through a dozen separate clips. It's a direct way to hear what a prospect wanted to know while they were standing in the unit.
Where to find it: the prospect's conversation timeline in the Command Center.
Set a price range for security deposits
Security deposits can now be shown as a range instead of a single amount, in portfolio defaults, community defaults, and unit-level settings. A "Use range" text button switches the single deposit field into a min/max input, and can be switched back to "Use single deposit" if needed.
The range carries through to your public listing page, move-in cost estimates, the syndication sites you push to, and how RentEngine AI answers prospect questions about the deposit. Set it at the portfolio, community, or unit level, the same as any other deposit default.
Where to find it: Portfolio, Community, or Unit settings > Security Deposit > Use range.

AI sends prospects a link to just the listings that match what they asked for
When a prospect describes what they’re looking for in the chat, your full portfolio is now searched and a pre-filtered link to the matching listings is sent back.
A prospect who asks for "one or two bedrooms, $600 to $900" now gets a link straight to the 8 units that match, instead of being asked to browse the full portfolio.
This runs automatically for every account with AI texting, so there's nothing to switch on
Where to find it: it runs automatically inside AI text conversations — there's no setting to turn on.
Lockboxes
A warning before you add a SentriLock that may already be linked
When you add a new SentriLock, you’ll now receive a warning asking whether the box is already linked in the SentriKey App. If it is, you can close the message and carry on.
If it is not, a "start the transfer process" button walks through the steps and emails your transfer request to the RentEngine team automatically. This will ensure that a lock never ends up linked in two places at once.
Where to find it: Lockboxes > add a new SentriLock.

See which subteam each lockbox belongs to
The lockbox report in Intelligence now includes a Subteam column, based on the property address each lockbox is assigned to.
A lockbox covering addresses split across more than one subteam shows all of them, and an unassigned lockbox shows none.
Where to find it: Intelligence > Lockbox report > Subteam column.
Choose who gets notified about leads with no property attached
Notification Settings now includes a "See Notifications for Leads without a Property" section, where an admin can set, per team member, whether they are notified by email, push, or in the Command Center whenever a lead without a property attached calls, texts, or gets escalated.
A team member who does not handle general inquiries can be turned off across all three channels, while a team lead can stay on for everything, without changing what anyone sees for leads tied to an actual unit.
Where to find it: Notification Settings > See Notifications for Leads without a Property.
Get full-funnel lead attribution, from a Google Ad to a completed showing
If you run Google Ads or track your site with Google Analytics, you can now follow a lead the whole way through. RentEngine fires a Google Analytics event when a showing is completed, missed, or failed, on top of the events already sent earlier in the funnel.
That closes the loop from the first inquiry on your website, to the listings a prospect clicks, to the showing they book, to how that showing actually turned out. It supports more than one GA4 property per account, so different sites or campaigns can each report into their own.
Where to find it: Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics (GA4).
