PropertyManagement.com launched the Vendor Performance Index (VPI) — an independently sourced vendor ranking that scores proptech vendors using surveys from verified property managers across six performance areas: NPS, overall satisfaction, support quality, industry credibility, customer retention, and measurable improvement.

We agreed to participate and here's what the early data shows.

What the VPI measures

The VPI scores vendors across six areas, with recommendation likelihood and overall satisfaction carrying the most weight. The index uses Bayesian smoothing for statistical credibility and tracks score momentum over time so a strong quarter shows up quickly, and a weak one does too.

Scores submitted directly through PropertyManagement.com's verified property manager network carry the highest trust weight. That's by design: the integrity of the index depends on responses coming from verified operators, not vendor-curated review campaigns.
