Leasing drives so much of the revenue and profitability in property management. It decides how long homes sit empty, how much owners earn and how fast a portfolio can grow.

Yet at industry conferences, leasing usually gets one or two breakout sessions, while the rest of the agenda goes to other topics and the hallways fill with vendor booths.

That’s why we built RECON.

💡

Learn more about RECON 2027.

ReCon is the only conference dedicated to leasing. Over two days, we’ll go deep on the craft of leasing with the leasing directors who do it best, in a room capped at 80 people.

RECON takes place from March 31 to April 2, 2027, at Black Rock Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah. The resort is a 4-star mountain retreat at 7,000 feet, overlooking Park City and the Wasatch range. It has a great dining offering, a heated pool and a hot tub to unwind in after the sessions. Accommodation at the resort is included in the price of the ticket.

It’s 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport, and a free shuttle gets you to the Park City and Deer Valley slopes in about 10 minutes.

Black Rock Mountain Resort sits at 7,000 feet, overlooking Park City and the Wasatch.

Both evenings, we’ll head into downtown Park City for dinner together. These dinners are where a lot of RECON’s value will come from: a relaxed setting to sit down with other leasing leaders, compare notes and keep the day’s conversations going.

Both nights, we’ll head into downtown Park City for dinner together.

Your ticket covers everything you need for the two days:

  • Every session and workshop

  • Two nights at Black Rock Mountain Resort

  • All meals and drinks

  • Two group dinners in downtown Park City

  • 1:1 time with the RentEngine product team

  • Early access to our 2027 product roadmap

Why we built RECON

We work with leasing teams every day, and the operational questions they bring us are consistent.

The best answers come from teams that have already solved them. The problem is that those teams rarely get a chance to share what they’ve learned. Industry events usually give leasing a breakout session or two.

RECON gives those conversations two full days. Leading leasing directors will walk through exactly how they do it, and you’ll be in a room of 80 peers who are working on the same problems at a similar scale.

Who should attend

RECON is for leasing leaders, operations leaders, and the founders, CEOs and COOs of property management companies. If leasing metrics land on your desk, RECON is for you.

RECON is open to everyone, whatever software you use, and you don't need to be a RentEngine customer to attend.

No vendor hall and no lanyards. Just 80 leasing leaders and room to talk.

What makes RECON different

RECON is built around one thing: real operational outcomes.

Leasing directors lead every session. The people on stage run leasing teams today and hit the numbers they talk about. You'll hear from the best scattered-site leasing teams in the country.

There are no vendors or sponsors. No vendor hall, sponsored sessions, or sales pitches.

Nothing is recorded. Much of the content at RECON has never been shared at another conference. Keeping it off the record lets speakers be fully open about what works, what doesn't and what it costs.

There are only 80 seats. A small room means more engagement. We want you to leave knowing the people in the room, too.

No lanyards or awkward cocktail hours. RECON is relaxed by design. Come ready to talk shop, and bring your own numbers and processes to compare.

The program

RECON has eight sessions across two days: four operator sessions, three hands-on workshops and one session with our product team.

Operator sessions

1. How one team leases 300 doors a month with just 3 agents

This session breaks down how one team does it: how they structure the work, what they automate and where they spend their agents' time. If your team feels stretched, this is the session to start with.

300 leases a month with three agents. Session 1 shows how.

2. Designing and hiring the perfect leasing team

This session covers how to design the team you need, which roles matter and how to hire people who will hit their numbers.

3. Building a remarketing machine to reduce your reliance on Zillow and Apartments.com

This session shows how to build your own remarketing engine, so the leads you've already paid for keep working for you.

4. Where and how to implement AI, while avoiding legal risk

This session covers where AI helps in leasing, where to keep a human involved and how to roll it out safely.

Workshops

5. Choosing the right leading KPIs to catch issues early

In this workshop, you'll pick the metrics that flag problems early, while there's still time to fix them.

The right leading KPIs show you what changed before it shows up in days on market.

6. How to design the perfect application processing workflow

This workshop walks through screening, approvals and lease signing, and shows you how to remove delays without adding risk.

7. Renter POV: find and eliminate every piece of friction

In this workshop you'll walk your own process from the first inquiry to the signed lease, find where renters get stuck and leave with a list of fixes.

Leads, tours, applications, leases. The workshops help you find where renters drop off.

New data you won't see anywhere else

Every quarter, we publish leasing data from across the RentEngine network. At RECON, we'll go much deeper into the data.

We'll share new operational data that hasn't appeared in our Quarterly Reports. It's the kind of detail that helps you benchmark your team against operators at your scale.

Tickets

Early Adopter seats are $750 until November 1.

Early Adopter: $750 per seat, until November 1, 2026

Standard: $925 per seat, until January 31, 2027

Team tickets work with an access code. Contact us for a code, and each person on your team uses it to buy their ticket. Team tickets are confirmed once three or more people have booked, and nobody is charged until then.
