Product Updates: Week 45

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new leasing app for iPhone/Android, built for all the work that happens outside the office.

The app puts the full platform in your pocket, letting you manage leads, lockboxes, and showings wherever your day takes you. Plus, we've shipped several key updates to prescreening and showing management.

RentEngine Mobile App

Now Available on iOS and Android

The RentEngine mobile app brings full leasing functionality to your phone, designed for PMs and leasing agents on the move.

Key features include:

  • Manage showings - schedule, reschedule, cancel, and log feedback

  • Text and call prospects directly - full access to the Command Center and RentEngine AI

  • Manage lockboxes - generate codes and update boxes from anywhere

  • View property details - access all your property information on the go

Getting Started

For iOS users: Head to the App Store, download the RentEngine app, and log in with your email address. You'll receive a verification code, and you're ready to go.

For Android users: Head to the Google Play Store, download the RentEngine app, and log in with your email address. You'll receive a verification code, and you're ready to go.

Prescreening Enhancements

Expanded Question Types

We've significantly expanded the prescreening template options to give you more control over the information you collect before showings:

Free text fields - Allow prospects to provide detailed answers for questions requiring more context

Date pickers - Collect move-in dates and other time-sensitive information in a structured format

Custom instructions - Add up to 160 characters of custom messaging (including clickable hyperlinks) above the income/credit section. Perfect for messages like "We consider all applications" or "We accept co-signers"

Smoother Prospect Experience

The prescreening flow now includes several improvements to reduce drop-offs and speed up the process:

Progress indicators - A new animation displays during ID verification, showing prospects the process is working and reducing abandonment all the ID is being verified

Smarter qualification flow - If prospects don't meet income or credit requirements, they're notified before ID verification begins. This means faster responses for prospects and less unnecessary data collection

Company-Level Showing Approval

You can now set a company-wide default for showing approval that automatically applies to all new properties.

Navigate to Settings > Showings > Company and enable "Require PM Approval for Showings" to make this your standard. Individual properties can still override this setting when needed, giving you both consistency and flexibility.

Live Availability in Message Snippets

Message snippets accessed via "/" in the Command Center now pull live availability data, ensuring the showing windows you share are always current. For accompanied showings, this even factors in your agents' Google Calendar availability.
