Product Updates: Week 44
Between connecting with customers at NARPM National, launching RentEngine AI, and finalizing our Q3 Leasing Data & Trends Report, we somehow managed to ship a full slate of product updates this week.
Here's everything that went live this week:
RentEngine AI
We officially launched RentEngine AI last week, and early adopters are already seeing dramatic improvements in their response times and leasing velocity. This unified conversational AI handles both text and voice interactions, becoming your always-on leasing assistant.
What it handles automatically:
- Answers questions about amenities, pricing, availability, and policies 
- Schedules, confirms, cancels, and reschedules showings 
- Helps renters find homes based on their needs and budget 
- Loops in team members for complex or unique questions 
The system is designed to be default-on for new customers with simple toggle controls if you need to adjust settings.

Automatic Multifamily Property Matching
No more manual linking required. When you activate a unit in a multifamily building, we now automatically match and links it to the correct property based on the address.
You'll see the "Auto-matched" tag appear when editing or activating units, confirming the system has made the connection for you.
Hide Move-in Costs Option
We added a new toggle that lets you hide total move-in fees from your RentEngine listing page. Some managers prefer not to display the full upfront cost immediately—now you have that choice.
Expanded Message Customization
We've opened up many more automated messages for customization, giving you greater control over your prospect communications:
- Auto-cancellation confirmations 
- Prescreening rejection messages 
- Unit availability notifications 
- Self-guided showing completion messages 
- And several others 
Navigate to Settings > Communication > Messages to access all the newly customizable templates and match them to your brand voice.

Enhanced Prospect Source Tracking
We completely reorganized the prospect source interface with many more specific categories. This makes it easier to:
- Track exactly where leads originate 
- Measure marketing ROI by channel 
- Identify your most effective sources 
- Make data-driven marketing decisions 
Find the updated options when adding or editing prospects in the Command Center.
Cleaner Leasing Pipeline Kanban
The Kanban board now better reflects actual prospect stages. Prospects marked as "Looking too early" or "Showing Desired" now correctly display in the "New" stage, for example.
Lockbox Transparency
Every manually generated lockbox code now shows a "Created by" field, making it easy to track who generated codes for accountability and troubleshooting.

Waitlist Marketing Expansion
You can now post waitlist properties to Facebook and Craigslist, helping you build your prospect pipeline before units become available. Start generating interest early and have qualified leads ready when units open up.
