Product Updates: Week 29

This week, we knocked out some long-standing requests from our most active users, tightened up infrastructure, and continued work on two major feature releases coming in early August (stay tuned!).

Here’s what’s new and improved in RentEngine this week:

Faster navigation for property setup

One of our most requested updates from power users is finally live.

We’ve added tabbed navigation to the Property Edit view, making it easier (and faster) to jump between sections like Showings, Price, Photos, and more.

Smoother lockbox access

We’ve improved the lockbox access experience in two key ways:

• In the Lockboxes tab: You’ll now see clear instructions and helper text (including shackle codes) for both SentriLock and Codebox devices.

• For renters: We've enhanced the showing experience with clearer directions when accessing digital lockboxes.

Support for AppFolio amenities

You can now sync custom amenities from AppFolio straight into your Marketing Descriptions in RentEngine. These details will then push to your listing sites, helping you surface in more renter searches.

To turn this on:
Head to Settings > Company and toggle on Include Amenities When Syncing Marketing Content From AppFolio.

Bug fixes

• We fixed a bug in the Command Center that hid the assigned showing agent within the blue leasing event.

• Notes for unregistered leads now save consistently, and can be deleted.

• Added more robust follow-up scheduling for high-volume accounts.

• Showing buttons (Start, Complete, etc.) are now visible for longer to help you make post-showing adjustments.
